Go:Audio - Made Up Stories Made Up Stories is the debut album from the London 4 Piece Pop-Rock band Go:Audio. Formed in 2006 they are already storming up the charts with their catchy Pop sound and catchy riffs giving a really up beat and 'feel good' vibe to their songs. The Band has currently released 4 singles: 'Woochuck' which was featured on their EP titled 'Woodchuck', 'Made Up Stories' and 'She Left Me' which are singles from the upcoming album entitled 'Made Up Stories' which is now set to be released 4th May 2009 on the bands own label Rubix Records following the drop of their original record label the album track list has been changed with two new singles one of which is due to be released on 20th April 'Drive To The City'. Songs to look out for on the album are: Made Up Stories: The first single from the album, the song sings about heartbreak when this guy spots his girlfriend in a club kissing another guy, then she comes home telling him lies and denying all that happened. The song is very upbeat with very catchy lyrics and riffs giving the ultimate pop rock feel to it making it a real club tune. The song has a lot of meaning behind it with lyrics such as 'the saddest thing for me was I trusted you yeah, endlessly so now, the innocence you played, just go save it for the other guy unseen.' Making it one of Go:Audio's most catchiest and biggest hits off the record. Break! Break!: This song talks about a person having realization about how fast moving the relationship is comparing it to that of a moving vehicle and how much of an effect it's having on that person. Again this has really catchy lyrics and guitar riffs making it a real good song to sing and dance to. With lyrics such as: The road we don't know says to drive slow, Were going to fast, were going to fast, I couldn't stop if I wanted to try' Implying that they should stop for a minute and slow things down. Drive To The City: The latest single to be released from the highly anticipated album 'Made Up Stories' The song has a very fresh and energetic feel to it, kicking off in a very trance way with a really upbeat and catchy sound. The song sings about forgetting about all the problems in the world for one night, drive to the city and dance the night away. It brings a very high energetic and vibrant feel all the way with all the emotion and fun that Go:Audio certainly bring to all their songs, making this not only one of the best songs off the album but one of the best that the band has recorded. She Left Me: The second single from the album and ultimately the most catchiest off all Go:Audio's songs. This tells the story of how a guy has been dumped by his girlfriend and how in denial he is by trying to make up any excuse to cover up the fact that she dumped him. Hitting us with lyrics such as: 'It says that she's not coming back, Not now, not then, Next year or ever, If one more person asks me why I'll try to lie, And then ...I will say, She got herself arrested, Got ten years locked away, But that's okay, 'Cause the honest truth, I was gonna end it anyway, I'll make up anything yeah, truthfully, So no one finds out she left me'. The song starts off with this catchy piano tune then kicks in to this really fast paced, very catchy and gives off a real 'feel good' vibe to the overall song. Woodchuck: Originally from the bands EP entitled 'Woodchuck' the song is about a guy telling his girlfriend that he doesn't take the relationship seriously and again like Break! Break! saying that she's taking the relationship too seriously and that they should slow things down because he doesn't take it as seriously as she does. He also talks about how obsessive she is being by following him around all the time. This isn't the poppiest of the albums songs but it is one to look out for as it is still very catchy and upbeat. Other songs to look out for: This Isn't Hollywood So Quiet You Were Save Me Now Go:Audio are a very upbeat, catchy and growlingly popular band who are ones not to be missed and this album portrays why they are storming up the charts at the moment, a very well written album though, some of the songs are short, the album is a fantastic example of how Pop-Rock should sound and with the new single and album coming out this year Go:Audio are certainly a band to keep your eye on as they become ever growlingly popular.
