The Young And Hopeless album for me was GC's best so far of their courier, both Benji and Joel have made some pretty awesome songs together and literally every track on this album is catchy and upbeat. The strongest songs on the Y&H were 'Hold On' and 'Say Anything' for the emotion the guys put in to the songs was great for me and anytime your feeling down these are some good songs to listen to, 'The Anthem' a very good upbeat track, catchy and great to sing to, 'lifestyles of the rich and famous' a political song here i think saying that celeb life aint all money and happiness when you have the media all over you all the time, 'girls and boys' this is such a tune probably GC's most famous song as of yet full of life and laughs especially in the video with the old people showing the young' ns a thing or two that old people still have the punk in them, 'riot girl' a powerful song with a bit of aggression in and some good guitaring and again like all of GC's songs catchy lyrics, 'the day that i die' well this was a pretty random tune to be on this album i think because whilst all the songs are full of life, this song is about death pretty much which was pretty cool signing about the coldness settling in and then saying I'm cool with it, all in all a fav of mine, 'young and hopeless' the title track to the album no doubt a kick ass song, saying that youth is wasted on the young in the eyes of adults, again a fast pased song and to top the album off was the song 'movin' on' which was one of my favorite GC songs because if your feeling shite or whatever this songs saying screw you and get on with your life and not to worry about things..ace song. Like all of GC's songs they have the whole punk rock thing going on which is bouncy and very cheerful which i like in an album, so if you are interested in a upcoming punk band full of bouncy riffs and cool lyrics i recommend the Young And Hopeless album.
