DVD: Video of the performance with documentary behind-the-scenes footage. Review: Green Day - Bullet In A Bible. Bullet in a bible a 151 minutes of sheer adrenaline, passion, catchy riffs and just some down to earth good old fashioned rock from the worlds most successful modern day punk band, Green Day. In 2005 Green Day set it upon themselves to do the biggest world tour they have ever done, this dvd shows footage of day 2 at the Milton Keynes National Bowl, playing to over 65,000 fans. The dvd contains interviews of the band telling the story of how American Idiot come together, where they got the name of the dvd, with backstage footage before the concert, band practice, interviews of fans and they're opinions on what they thought of the album and the songs that Green Day have done in the past and so much more. The imagery of the camera work is amazing, panning from behind the band shots of the crowd, right up and close to the fans, close ups of the band and some fantastic birds eye views of the crowd. The band really put on one hell of a performance, playing off the crowd, climbing in to the crowd, wearing funny hats, running about the stage, a well preformed 'moonie' from Billie Jo, pulling weird faces, some amazing extended solo's, riffs, breaks in the songs to hype up to the chorus and just looking like they are having the time of they're lives. The set the band plays, covers some of the best Green Day tracks from the bands archive, 'American Idiot', 'Minority', 'Wake Me Up When September Ends', 'Jesus Of Suburbia', 'Holiday', 'Long View', 'Boulevard Of Broken Dreams', 'Basket Case' and the most legendary 'Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)' and ends with a firework display for goodness. This concert/documentary is one of the best I've seen, it covers so much of interesting things about the band, some fantastic music, funny jokes and a real insight on the bands ways of life, i really do recommend this to anyone who just wants a good documentary or a live dvd because if it wasn't for Green Day bands such as 'My Chemical Romance', 'Blink 182, 'Good Charlotte' and all the punk bands that exist today. For fans of The Ramones, Sex Pistols, My Chemical Romance, Blink 182, Good Charlotte. Sound mix: 10/10 Likability: 10/10 Re Watch value: 10/10 Rock-Reviews rating: 10/10
